Frequently Asked Questions
Does Aprika Life Hojicha Green Tea Powder contain caffeine?
Yes, but significantly less than unroasted green teas. The roasting process reduces caffeine content, making it gentler for sensitive palates while retaining the wellness properties of green tea.
How do I brew Aprika Life Hojicha Green Tea Powder?
Whisk 1–2 teaspoons into 6–8 oz of hot water (160–180°F) until smooth, or stir into milk for a creamy hojicha latte. The powder dissolves fully for a clean, sediment-free cup.
What makes hojicha different from matcha green tea?
Hojicha is a roasted, post-fermented green tea with lower caffeine and deeper, toasty notes. Matcha is shade-grown and finely ground while unroasted, offering a brighter, more vegetal profile. Both are green tea powders but deliver distinct flavors and experiences.
