Do you want caffeine?

Loose leaf or tea bags?

Tea bags and sachets are the easiest: no infuser and no cleanup. Loose leaf tea needs an infuser or strainer, but it lets you adjust strength and often re-steep the same leaves.

How to Taste a Tea Sampler

  • Follow the steeping directions on each pouch. As a starting point, green tea prefers cooler water (160–180°F), while black and herbal teas prefer water near boiling.
  • Taste each tea plain first, then add milk or honey if the blend suits it.
  • Write one line per tea: what you liked, what you didn't, and whether you'd buy it again.
