August Uncommon Tea Crystal Scoop

• Repeatable portions: Each full scoop measures one tablespoon (15 ml). That makes it simple to repeat a cup you enjoyed or to adjust strength one scoop at a time.
• See-through design: The clear body lets you see exactly how much leaf you have picked up.
• Food-safe material: It is made from BPA-free, food-safe clear plastic.
• Comfortable to hold: An ergonomic handle makes everyday measuring easy.
• Easy for beginners: If you are moving from tea bags to loose leaf, a tablespoon measure gives you a reliable place to start, with no scale required.
• Works with your setup: Portion leaves straight into a teapot, infuser or gaiwan.
• More than tea: It also works for other dry ingredients measured by the tablespoon, such as coffee grounds, dried herbs and spices.

How much tea does this August Uncommon crystal scoop hold?
One level scoop equals one tablespoon (15 ml) by volume. For a typical black tea, that is roughly 3.5 grams, or about one 8-ounce cup. The actual weight changes with leaf size, leaf style and how firmly the leaves settle, so treat it as a consistent reference point rather than an exact weight.

What is this August Uncommon crystal scoop made of?
Despite the name, it is not glass. It is made from clear, BPA-free, food-safe plastic, which gives it a crystal-like look.
