This Xin Yang Mao Jian is harvested from indigenous heirloom tea trees located on the favored southeast-facing side of Che Yun Shan, the most celebrated village of its historic origin mountain. The tea is 100% handmade, charcoal-baked, and undergoes the traditional one-week resting time after primary processing and a three-week mandatory resting period following fining. The resulting infusion is a classic Mao Jian with a sharp yet non-aggressive character, offering an aromatic and grounded flavor profile that is umami and delicately floral, concluding with a long and layered aftertaste.
