Hojicha (Japanese Collection)

Hojicha (ほうじ茶, also spelled "Hōjicha") is a roasted Japanese green tea.

Unlike most Japanese green teas, such as sencha and gyokuro, which are steamed, Hojicha is roasted in a porcelain pot over charcoal, resulting in the distinctive golden brown color of the leaves.

This unique roasting process yields Hojicha with the lowest caffeine level among green teas. It is easy to drink and possesses little to no bitterness, making it enjoyable at any time of day. For those who prefer a touch of sweetness, adding some cinnamon or honey (or both!) can enhance the experience.
